Energy Storage on Islands

On 21 November 2019 EASE will host a workshop on the Energy Storage on Islands.

The Energy Storage on Islands Workshop will bring together leading energy storage industry experts, EU policymakers, system operators, local authorities, and other stakeholders to explore the experiences gained from storage projects on islands (both interconnected and non-interconnected islands) as well as weak grids.

A diverse group of speakers will:

• Present cutting-edge developments in storage technologies
• Address financing and business case aspects
• Reflect on policy and regulatory challenges
• Consider what lessons can be learned for the broader energy system

Participants will also have the possibility to develop new synergies and expand their networks during the opening dinner taking place on 20 November 2019.
