Innovation Fund Technical Workshop on Greenhouse Gas Emissions Savings Methodology

EASE was glad to organise its Innovation Fund Technical Workshop on Greenhouse Gas Emissions Savings Methodology which took place in Brussels on 19 March 2020.

Technical experts were invited to join EASE members, representatives of the European Commission and Fraunhofer, to discuss selection criteria for the Innovation Fund and whether they fit for energy storage.

The workshop focused on the greenhouse gas emissions savings methodology, its shortcomings, and possible improvements that would allow the role of energy storage in decarbonisation to be recognised.
