The European Association for Storage of Energy (EASE) is proud to announce the launch of its third annual Student Award, recognising outstanding graduate student research in the field of energy storage.
EASE and LCP-Delta are pleased to announce the publication of the eighth edition of the European Market Monitor on Energy Storage (EMMES). The Market Monitor is an interactive database that tracks over 3,000 energy storage projects. With information on assets in over 29 countries, it is the largest and most detailed archive of European storage. The database is accompanied by a report which outlines key EU legislation, drivers and barriers for 14 core countries, future projects and forecasts to 2030.
EASE has compiled analyses of measures for energy storage in the draft updated NECPs to point out their strengths and weaknesses, based upon the Commission’s Recommendations for Energy Storage.
In light of interconnected challenges, such as energy security, economic growth, consumer protection, and climate change, energy storage emerges as a crucial tool to address these issues. EASE 2024 manifesto outlines four key goals and corresponding actions that prioritise energy storage, positioning it at the forefront of Europe’s energy system.
EASE has published its 2023 Activity Report. In 2023, EASE embraced several opportunities, and sustained its position as the main European advocate for energy storage in the continent’s energy landscape.
