Smart Grids: Digitisation and Energy Storage, Technological Challenges and Business Opportunities Conference

EASE is glad to support Smart Grids: Technology, Competitiveness, Regulation and New Business Models, jointly organised by Orkestra and Tecnalia, taking place on 18-19 October 2017.

With 150 attendees, the event addresses three major themes: power distribution, strategic aspects and the regulatory environment; transnational electricity interconnections and the integration of offshore wind; and advanced distribution networks, information management and integration of distributed resources.

The joint proposal for 2017 will combine the work of the two organisations, allowing technological aspects to be discussed alongside associated economic, regulatory and business-model issues. This is an important step, given that regulation is a key aspect for the development of new technologies.

EASE will participate in the panel “Energy storage: Implications for power grids.”
